Though the mantra of hands face space' is sure to remain a part of our daily program, it's clear that confidence is building and connections between face-to-face are happening. But Rotary has changed. In the months leading up to summer 2021, it is unclear what we can do to provide services to our community, which includes the valued human connection enjoyed by Rotary former members. Though the old adage of 'hands face space' will undoubtedly be part of our ongoing practice, it's evident that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections are happening. Rotary's changed. Rotary network helps to create lasting friendships. This has inspired us to improve our technological techniques. Our business remains online, but we have also introduced a volunteer and social activities. To build a better future for Rotary, we have used the opportunities of the epidemic and our previous practices. In a recent Rotary survey it was heartening to find that 75 percent of clubs are making plans for their "business routine activities" The warmer months have seen many participants out and about focusing on various projects like beaches and rivers being cleaned, trash cleaning, and the ongoing service for the community from Rotary volunteers who volunteer their time for COVID vaccination and test centres.
